NewLook's NanoSet Densifier is a blend of inorganic polymers that penetrate concrete deeply and quickly to increase surface density and hardness, as well as provide additional protection and longevity of the concrete substrate.
NanoSet Densifier reduces the potential for freeze/thaw damage, shrinkage cracking, carbonation, efflorescence and rebar corrosion caused by salts and moisture penetration. Surface applications on new concrete surfaces REDUCE the potential for these problems before they happen, making NanoSet Densifier an ideal solution for winterizing your concrete. It makes an extremely hard, dense floor surface that improves wear resistance to foot and forklift traffic. And it's environmentally-friendly and VOC compliant in all US states and territories and meets LEED qualifying standards.
Treated substrate and mortar surfaces improve the bond between coatings (e.g. NewLook stains) and the substrate and reduce occurrence of peeling, cracking and loss of bond caused by capillary moisture or internal chemical reactions. Recommended for use on green or new concrete surfaces.
Technology
The NanoSet™ Polishing System utilizes a proprietary and green manufacturing process and leverages advanced, inert nano-technology to deliver sustainable and durable results. The concentrated dispersion of amorphous, nano-sized silica particles offer extensive chemical reaction-sites that penetrate deeply and start reacting quickly and more efficiently upon contact, forming calcium silica hydrate (CSH) and strengthening the concrete matrix and increasing its stain resistance.
Packaging: 32 oz., 1 gallon, 5 gallon and 55 gallon containers.
Coverage depends on dilution with water, surface porosity, temperature and application methods. Coverage rate is 300 to 500 square feet per gallon. For new concrete, add six (6) parts water. For aged, existing concrete add four (4) parts water.
