How to Restore Concrete Pool Decks

Decorative concrete can be tricky, especially if you don’t know what to use or how to go about it.  For example, this dingy pool concrete deck was in need of some real time and attention. The concrete deck was plain, weathered, discolored and out-dated. It needed something to make it attractive again, but the owners were not sure where to start.

As a result, Kevin Brown – decorative concrete contractor in Southern California, was brought in to help revitalize and restore this area beyond it’s former glory using SmartColor & Endura Solid Stain and you can clearly see the results look great!

The SmartColor in Hazelnut really ties the Beach House and Buffalo Brown solid Endura Stain together and really completes this pool deck’s overall look.

The Buffalo Brown border really highlights the main feature of the pool nicely.

On the concrete pools deck Kevin broomed all the products on with a NewLook applicator brush.  The contrast between the Buffalo Brown (237) border in Endura Stain Solid concrete stain, with the Beach House (233) Endura Stain Solid concrete stain as a base over the rest of the pool deck was fantastic! it really complimented the space and its surroundings.  Kevin also enhanced over the Beach House base with a transparent stain SmartColor in Hazelnut (SC-115). It was then sealed with SmartSeal WB sealer in Matte. The rich hues really gave this restoration project a new life and made it very pleasing to the eye.  Now this pool deck can be enjoyed for years to come. Great job Kevin!!  Another amazing job in NewLook!
